Fiorentina forward Moise Kean has been discharged from hospital after he collapsed on the pitch in a 1-0 loss at Hellas Verona in Serie A.

How the head injury occured

Kean’s face banged with Pawel Dawidowicz’s knee as he fell while jostled for the ball in the 58th minute.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus forward continued playing after receiving treatment on the sidelines.

However, in the 64th minute, he suddenly lost his balance and collapsed to the turf.

Players from both teams immediately signaled for the medical team, who rushed onto the pitch.

Fiorentina announced on Monday that Moise Kean returned to Florence following Sunday’s scare.

Kean was taken off on a stretcher and was seen wearing a neck brace before being taken to hospital.

The Italian forward was discharged from a hospital in Verona last night after undergoing tests.

“ACF Fiorentina announces that Moise Kean was discharged from hospital in Verona during the night and returned to Florence.

“The clinical and diagnostic tests carried out were all negative.”

Kean is currently the second-top scorer in Serie A this season with 15 goals.
