N’Golo Kante has become Karim Benzema’s teammate as the French midfielder left Chelsea to join Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad.

The decorated player, who won the 2018 World Cup with France, now joins compatriot Benzema on a lucrative deal with the Saudi Arabian side.
According to sources, Kante will earn up to €25m salary per season until 2027 for four years, €100m total fixed package — plus commercial deals & image rights.
Al Ittihad are managed by former Wolves and Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo and finished five points ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr – who came second – last season.
Kante leaves Chelsea after seven years at Stamford Bridge
Kante was among the best players in Premier League history, having won the English elite league with two different clubs, Leicester and Chelsea.
With the Blues, he dominated European competitions with the Champions League, Europa League, and UEFA Super Cup titles.
However, the Frenchman’s most recent season was plagued by injuries, as he missed 38 matches in all competitions, with Chelsea struggling without him and finishing 12th in the league.
