Flagg is a former No. 1 prospect in the 2024 high school class.
He has been considered as the heavy favorite to be drafted first overall in the 2025 NBA draft.

The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists during his lone season at Duke, leading the Blue Devils to a 35-4 record and a Final Four appearance.
He was the consensus National Player of the Year and became only the fourth freshman to win the Wooden Award.
