OKC VS WOLVES GAME 2 HAS SGA LEADING THUNDER TO 2-0 LEAD

The OKC vs Wolves Game 2 has Gilgeous-Alexander leading the Thunder to a 118-103 victory for a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven series.

Furthermore, SGA showed why he’s the reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the league by coming up with 38 points and eight assists.

Moreover, OKC wasn’t just a one-man show as usual, as Jalen Williams scored 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Chet Holmgren had 22.

The Thunder went on a 23-5 run in the third quarter led by SGA to break open a close game.

Minnesota did cut the lead to 10 points late in the fourth quarter but it was too late.

SGA TRUMPS EDWARDS IN MATCHUP OF SUPERSTARS

SGA trumped Anthony Edwards in a high-scoring matchup between two superstars.

Moreover, the OKC’s All-Star guard went 12 of 21 from the field after he received his MVP trophy.

Furthermore, the night also belonged to SGA’s teammates Lu Dort and Williams.

Dort was part of the NBA All-Defensive first team, while Williams made it to the second team,

Edwards finished with 32 points as he went head-to-head with Gilgeous-Alexander offensively only to fall short.

OKC’s 93-71 lead entering the fourth proved to be too much for Minnesota to overcome.

MINNESOTA STRUGGLES AMID OKC’S DEFENSIVE DRAGNET BEHIND DORT, WILLIAMS

Minnesota struggled offensively throughout against OKC’s defensive dragnet anchored by Dort and Williams.

Furthermore, the Wolves were held to just 41.4% shooting.

Moreover, Edwards needed 26 shots to get his 32 points, and he got not much support from his teammates.

Jaden McDaniels finished with 22 points, while reserve Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 17 for the Wolves.

However, the rest of the starters struggled, with Julius Randle held to a 2-for-11 shooting for just six points.

Mike Conley was only 1-for-6 from the field and had only three points for Minnesota.
