PACERS VS THUNDER SEES INDIANA BENCH STEP UP AS MATHURIN, MCCONNELL SCORE BUNCHES

The Pacers vs Thunder series saw Indiana’s bench step up behind Benedict Mathurin and TJ McConnell scoring bunches in a 116-107 Game 3 win.

INDIANA OUTLASTS OKC IN BACK-AND-FORTH GAME 3

Indiana simply outlasted Oklahoma City in a back-and-forth Game 3 unlike the first two games of the series.

Moreover, Haliburton scored 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting along with 11 assists and nine rebounds in a near triple-double effort.

Furthermore, Siakam had 21 points and was the only other Pacers’ starter in double figures.

“So many different guys chipped in,” Haliburton said.

“We just had guys make plays after plays. Our bench was amazing,” he added.

OKC FALLS WITH 17 TURNOVERS, SGA GETTING TO THE LINE ONLY SIX TIMES

OKC fell on the road after committing 17 turnovers compared to 13 for Indiana.

Furthermore, Shai Gilgeous Alexander finished with 24 points but committed six turnovers and he only went to the line six times.

Moreover, Jalen Williams scored 26 points, while Chet Holmgren added 20 and 10 rebounds for the Thunder.

The Thunder’s bench was also limited, with Alex Caruso – who scored 20 in OKC’s Game 2 win, held to just eight points.

Indiana has not lost back-to-back games this season since March 10, and the Pacers hope to get another win in Game 4 on Friday night.
