Sinner and Musetti joined Paolini in giving more cheer to home fans with their respective victories.
Moreover, Sinner dismantled Caspee Ruud, 6-0, 6-1, in their quarterfinals matchup to reach the last four.
Furthermore an all-Italian final looms as Musetti ousted defending champion Alexander Zverev of Germany, 7-6 (1), 6-4.
However, Musetti must get past Spanish world No.3 Carlos Alcaraz to entertain thoughts of a dream final against Sinner in Rome.
“It was a great advantage all this week, the support from the crowd,” Musetti said.
JANNIK LOVES ‘A LOT OF ITALY HERE IN THE ITALIAN OPEN’ AFTER WIN
Sinner loves that there’s “a lot of Italy here in the Italian Open” after beating Rudd.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old world No.1 acknowledged he and Musetti in the semifinals and Paolini in the women’s final is a good thing for Italian tennis.
Moreover, he is also chasing to become the first Italian man to win the Rome title since Adriano Panatta in 1976.
Sinner must take care of business against American Tommy Paul in the semifinals to hopefully join Paolini in the final.
“There’s a lot of Italy here in the Italian Open. It’s nice to be part of this,” he added.
