Man Utd 1-1 Arsenal – Let It Go, Arteta
Arsenal entered Old Trafford with the hope of a crucial win to keep pace with Liverpool in the title race. Despite their determined start and sustained pressure, they were unable to convert their superior possession into decisive chances. However, despite the equalizer, United had further chances to finish the game, and Raya’s crucial saves in the closing stages ensured that Arsenal left with a point.
With a 15-point deficit to league leaders Liverpool, Arsenal’s realistic hopes of challenging for the title have effectively faded.
Chelsea 1-0 Leicester City – Securing a Top 4 Spot
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Leicester City—a result that saw them leapfrog rivals in the battle for a Champions League qualification spot. The only goal came in the 60th minute when Enzo Fernández’s incisive play down the left wing found Marc Cucurella, who curled the ball past Leicester’s goalkeeper.
Despite Cole Palmer failed at this penalty for the first time, The Blues still earned 3 points thanks to a on-form Cucurella. Palmer all scored for his last 12 penalties, but this time at home, his shot was saved by Leicester’s Mads Hermansen.
This win not only propelled Chelsea into fourth place with 49 points but also further complicated the standings, as Manchester City slipped to fifth following a shock defeat by Nottingham Forest. For Leicester City, the loss marked their fourth consecutive league defeat, leaving them precariously close to the relegation zone with only 17 points.
