PUBG Mobile seeks to expand grassroots eSports next year by spending a USD10-million budget in giving more opportunities to players.
Furthermore, James Yang, Level Infinite Global Esports Director, said the investment will focus on expanding on PUBG Mobile’s Esports prize pools and third-party tournament incentives.
Moreover, Yang cited that the investment will also have enough room to promote female-focused events.
“Heading into 2025, we are very excited to reveal our commitment to the development of grssroot esports opportunities,” Yang said.
“Next year will bring the professional scene closer than ever before to all players across the globe,” he added.
ESPORTS CIRCUIT TO EXPAND WITH 20 REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS FOR ULTIMATE ROYALE RANKED MODE
The eSports circuit will expand with 20 regional tournaments fpr PUBG Mobile Esports’ new Ultimate Royale ranked mode.
Moreover, players from around the world are set to compete in more than 20 regional tournaments across Southeast Asia, Europe, Middle East, and North Africa (MENA).
Furthermore, PUBG Mobile will expand its presence in Central and South Asia (CSA) and the Americas.
PUBG Mobile will have separate regional tournaments for Europe and MENA compared to last year.
Meanwhile, Tencent is committef to host more local tournaments in PUBG Mobile next year.
YANG HOPES TO SUSTAIN 2024 GAINS AND CARRY IT TO 2025 ESPORTS SEASON
Furthermore, Yang hopes to sustain the gains PUBG Mobile gained this year.
Moreover, the official cited the need to promote “new tournaments, new game modes, and new stars.”
“This has been an incredible year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with fantastic performances from professionals, great underdog moments, and record-breaking competitions,” Yang said.
The second edition of the PUBG Mobile Global Open will be held in March and April next year in Uzbekistan.
The PUBG Mobile World Cup will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next year as part of the Esports World Cup.
