SEA Games 32 details
The southeast asian sports even, taking place from 5th to 17th May, 2023, with 581 medals at stake, are having the open ceremony in the evening of May 5th.
The 32nd edition is in Phnom Penh and four other localities of Siem Reap, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot and Kep. It is expected to welcome over 12,400 athletes, coaches and staff from regional sports delegations.
Some athletes have already tasted the silverware, with the first medals of the SEA Games 2023 were awarded in jiu jitsu.

Kong Mona Pithora and Touch Pikada took gold in the jiujitsu competition, as the duo brought honor for the host.
Philippines’ Kaila Napolis won gold in the Ne-waza Nogi -52kg event, while Cambodia’s Jessa Khan, bagged silver.
“To win against her (Khan) here in Cambodia is overwhelming,’’ said an emotional Napolis afterwards.
The Philippines is looking to surpass the 52 gold medals it won last year in SEA Games 31 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
