SEA Games 32 – Indonesia beat Vietnam in Football semifinal as the 10-man U22 Indonesia scored in injury time to secure a place in Men’s Football final.
Two Southeast Asians rivals chased each other from the very first minute but Vietnam lost eventually 2-3 to Indonesia despite having more men in the second half.

Vietnam have now failed to defend the champions as they will play for bronze against either Thailand or Myanmar in the second semifinal.
Indonesia 3-2 Vietnam highlights
U22 Indonesia pressed from the very first minutes as they looked for the early advantage against the defending champions.
But U22 Vietnam also had their chance when Nguyen Van Do’s freekick near the box created the space, however none of his teammate could reach the ball.
The breakthrough came after 10 minutes, when Komang Trisnanda took advantage of his teammate’s powerful throw-in and headed home the opening goal.
Vietnamese goalkeeper Quan Van Chuan was forced to pull save later with shot from Ramadhan Sanata.

The equalizer put Van Tung as SEA Games 32 Men’s Football top scorer as this was his fifth in the tournament.
Second-half almost repeated the first one, with Indonesia took back the lead before Vietnam equalized, but both goals were from the Indonesia players.
Arthan, again, pulled another strong throw-in but goalkeeper Chuan succeeded in punching the ball away, but Marselino Ferdinan claimed it out side of the post before striking low to deflect off an teammate and went in the back of Vietnam’s net.
In the 60th minute, Arhan tried to stop Duc Phu from starting an attack and the referee didn’t hesitate to send him off with a second yellow. Vietnam took fully advantage of the numbers but had to wait until the 79th minute to draw the game.
Dinh Xuan Tien’s pressure was enough to make Amiruddin Arrizqi score an own goal and the score was 2-2.
