TIMBERWOLVES VS WARRIORS SEES DUBS PULL AWAY IN WIN DESPITE CURRY HAMSTRING INJURY

The Timberwolves vs Warriors’ series saw the Dubs pull away despite Curry ruled out with a hamstring injury in their 99-88 victory.

Furthermore, it took a balanced scoring led by Buddy Hield, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler to carry Golden State despite the absence of their All-Star guard.

CURRY GOES DOWN, REACHES FOR LEFT HAMSTRING IN SECOND QUARTER

Curry went down, as he reached for his left hamstring in the second quarter of Game 1.

Moreover, the 37-year-old veteran looked uncomfortable as he tried to bring the ball upcourt when he felt something on his hamstring,

Furthermore, the Warriors eventually ruled Curry out with a left hamstring strain just before halftime.

Curry finished with 13 points, one rebound, and one assist on 5-of-9 shooting in 13 minutes.

The Dubs hope to see Curry available for Game 2.

They just came off a 4-3 first-round series win on the road over the Houston Rockets.

‘ANT-MAN’ SCORELESS IN FIRST HALF AS WOLVES FAILED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CURRY ABSENCE

Anthony “Ant-Man” Edwards went scoreless in the first half, as the Wolves failed to take advantage of Curry’s absence.

Furthermore, the 23-year-old Team USA member went 0-for-8 from the field, while Minnesota was 0-for-15 at the half.
