The La Liga giant Real Madrid signed Hazard for £88million from Chelsea in 2019, only to see the Belgium go down as one the worst signings as he spent most of his four-year spell sidelined for injuries.
Eventually, Hazard announced his departure last week, having still another season in the contract with Madrid.

Kroos, who has been enjoying his glittering career with the Spanish side, having won three La Liga titles and four Champions League, appeared to use Hazard to fire a warning to Bellingham after the English’s six-year move had been confirmed.
It is understood Bellingham’s transfer from Borussia Dortmund will guarantee the Bundesliga giants £88.5m – a fee similar to the amount Madrid paid for Hazard in 2019 – but will rise to £113.5m after the midfielder completes an achievable set of performance-related add-ons.
‘We had another player who came for a lot of money and let his career die,’ he insisted on his podcast Einfach mal Luppen.
‘It was a lot of money, I think everyone would say that wasn’t a good transfer. But let’s be positive.’
Fans have been divided by Kroos’ harsh words aimed at Hazard. Some agreed with the 2014 World Cup winner, while the rest expressed that the former Bayern Munich midfielder has been too insensitive to publicly criticize Hazard.
During his four injury-plagued seasons at the Bernabeu, Hazard netted a mere seven goals in 76 appearances for the Spanish giants as he lifted the La Liga title and Champions League title in the 2021/22 season.
Meanwhile, it is understood Bellingham will be unveiled at a presentation ceremony in Madrid on Thursday and will subsequently appear in front of the media.
