The UAE welcomes staging Pakistan-India matches, its envoy said, even beyond the Champions Trophy 2025.

Furthermore, UAE Ambassador to India Abdulnassner Alshaali assures both countries are welcome to visit Dubai to watch the matches.

Moreover, Alshaali cited a formula of the UAE hosting both India and Pakistan’s matches for the next three years.

“The UAE is ope for business and open for sports,” he added.

DUBAI READY TO STAGE INDIA, PAKISTAN MATCHES IN THREE-YEAR WINDOW

Moreover, Dubai is ready to stage both India and Pakistan matches in a three-year window.

This window should start with the Champions Trophy 2025.

Furthermore, sources told Geo News that the UAE will also stage Pakistan’s matches that are scheduled to be played in India.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has maintained its stand that no Indian team will travel to Pakistan to play cricket matches there.

Alshaali’s statement came after the International Cricket Council (ICC) held a meeting on Friday to decide the final plan for the Champions Trophy 2025.

PCB AMENABLE TO NEW FORMULA BUT NOT HYBRID MODEL, SAYS CHAIRMAN

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is amenable to come up with a new formula for staging the Champions Trophy 2025.

Furthermore, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi clarified that they are not keen on staging the tournament in the hybrid model.

Moreover, the PCB is only doing what benefits Pakistan cricket.

“We will do what’s best for cricket, it’s definitely not a hybrid formula, but if a new formula is formed, it will be an equal one,” Naqvi said.

“We will not allow one-sided decisions… decisions should be made based on equality,” he added.
