What happened
Indian professional cricketer Unadkat suffered from an injury with his left-shoulder while training in the nets last weekend.
Unadkat got his left foot stuck in the rope and nastily fell on his bowling elbow as he clutched his left shoulder while still on the ground.
Medics later had to put ice pack on, with him looking in pain.
Fans worried that the Lucknow Super Giants’ quick might have his shoulder dislocated but sources confirmed that it was less severe.
ESPNcricinfo reported that the 31-year-old will need at least one month to recover, Super Giants also decided to withdraw Unadkat from the IPL 2023
What’s next
Unadkat will start his recover process with scans in Mumbai, where he visits one of the specialist consultants appointed by the BCCI.
The rehab will set in Bengaluru, before it’s to bee re-valued if he is fit to travel to England for the WTC final against Australia.
The past few days were not bright at all for Indian cricket fans, as Unadkat’s injury came on the same day as that of KL Rahul, who hurt his right leg while chasing a ball.
