Rashford “regaining confidence” in Villa
Rashford opened the scoring early in the second half after Morgan Rogers played a long pass.
He calmly controlled the ball with one touch before firing past Bart Verbruggen from outside the area.
This was Rashford’s first Premier League goal for Villa.

“We practised him playing as a striker on Sunday and decided for him to carry on,” Emery told a post-match news conference.
“The most important is how he is feeling and recovering confidence and being focused in only football and being comfortable with teammates.”
Keeps getting better
Rashford also scored twice in the FA Cup quarterfinals against Preston North End last weekend.
He is finding his feet on loan at Villa after a difficult spell at Manchester United earlier this season, where he was sidelined by manager Ruben Amorim.
The England international echoed Emery’s sentiments after his FA Cup brace.

“It’s a great feeling. I feel like I’ve slowly been getting fitter and playing better football since I’ve been here,” Rashford told the BBC.
“So yeah, it’s obviously nice for a forward to always get goals, so hopefully it continues.
