What happened between the Man United pair?

It was late in the anticipated Super Sunday fixture, as Manchester United hosted Chelsea in the first few games after Hag’s sacking and ahead of Ruben Amorim’s arrival.

Casemiro absolutely ripped into Garnacho for losing the ball and not tracking back. The reason for the midfielder’s reaction was apparent, and fans totally sided with him.

The Former Real Madrid man Casemiro copped a booking for a late tackle, which he believed was Garnacho’s fault, who was not clever enough to create a pass for a more apparent chance to attack.

Worse still, the boy who idolized Cristiano Ronaldo did not track back, which frustrated his team-mate.

What Man United fans said about the Casemiro vs Garnacho incident

Red Devils fans agreed with Casemiro as they wrote on X/Twitter to share their opinions.

One wrote: “Casemiro has every right to shout at Garnacho there because that was absolutely f****** pathetic!

A second post: “Casemiro rightfully shouted at Garnacho for giving away the ball & not tracking the ball.

A third added: “Casemiro just gave Garnacho a real bollocking after chasing back to stop a Chelsea counter after the youngster had given the ball away.

Garnachos’s body language in the first half when he didn’t receive the expected pass was also noticeable. He threw his hands up and complained. He needed to cut that out and focus on his football to at least claim his peak form. That said, Garnacho was a good player but had a terrible game today and should’ve been subbed off earlier.

While a fifth thought: “I hope Casemiro slaps Garnacho in the changing rooms after this match.”

Frustrating draw for Man United at Chelsea

It was a frustrating day for the Red Devils, who could not follow up their midweek 5-2 victory over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup with three points against the Blues.

After a disappointing first half, it looked like United had sneaked a win with a Bruno Fernandes penalty in the 70th minute.

However, they were pegged back four minutes later when Moises Caicedo volleyed past Andre Onana.

United are up to 13th in the league after earning a point.
