WILLIAMS SAYS HER 2012 OLYMPICS’ POST-GOLD MEDAL CEREMONY DANCE ‘WOULD PAY OFF’

Williams says in a message on social media on Tuesday that her 2012 Olympics’ post-gold medal ceremony dance “would pay off” soon.

Furthermore, the 43-year-old American tennis superstar shocked fans with her appearance at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show on Monday.

Moreover, Williams performed the cripwalk dance while rapper Kendrick Lamar headlined the National Football League (NFL) popular title game halftime showcase.

Aside from Williams, Super Bowl LIX is more popular beyond the game for its cultural impact, with memes spawning before, during, and after the match.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion recalled the same dance she did 13 years ago, when she won the gold medal for the US at the London Games.

“When @kendricklamar and team called and was like ‘we’ve been trying to do something forever, what about this?” Williams wrote on Instagram.

“We loved your crip walk at the Olympics after you won the gold medal,” she added, repeating what Lamar and his team told her.

Moreover, she was initially shocked at Lamar and his team’s offer before she quickly said yes.

Furthermore, Williams was shown by multiple cameras for some 10-15 seconds while Lamar was performing and the Internet went wild.

“I’m like Super Bowl? Are you serious? When in the world would I ever be able to dance at a Super Bowl? (Never) let’s do it!” the former world No.1 said.

“I knew my winning dance after the @olympics would pay off one day. End of story,” she added.
