Xavi Simons stays with RB Leipzig on loan
Netherland forward Xavi Simons has agreed to extend his loan at RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain for another season.

Simons remains on loan with RB Leipzig
Bundesliga club Bayern Munich first expressed interest in acquiring the 21-year-old.
RB Leipzig said the 21-year-old will complete a medical examination on Monday and then train individually before joining the rest of the team on Tuesday.
He will wear the No. 10 for the coming season.
“Speculation surrounding Xavi’s future can finally be put to rest, with the Netherlands international returning to the Red Bulls for the new season,” a club statement read.
“RB Leipzig will loan the 21 year-old from French giants Paris Saint-Germain for another year.”
Impressive campaign
Simons recently starred for the Netherlands at EURO 2024.
He enjoyed an impressive campaign on loan at Leipzig in the 2023-24 seasons, registering 10 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
RB Leipzig finished fourth in the Bundesliga table.
Simons could face his parent club, PSG, in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.
Before announcing they would retain Simons’ services, the club also extended Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko’s contract until 2029.
