Sadilek, who plays for Dutch club Twente and featured in the last Euros, also captained his nation in a recent friendly win over Malta.

This unforeseen turn of events is a significant blow for both the national team and the player himself, as manager Ivan Hasek expressed about the loss of the 25-year-old, who has 24 caps:
“Sadilek unfortunately fell while riding his bike and suffered a laceration in the leg,” a Czech Republic spokesperson said on Sunday.
The Czech Republic’s Euros campaign is set to kick off against Portugal on Tuesday, 18 June. They also have crucial matches against Turkey and Georgia in Group F.
Denmark knocked them out in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.
