Real Madrid launches orange kit
The reigning LaLiga and European champions first donned the orange kit during the 2013/14 season.
The statement read: “It is orange and features an abstract and astral graphic that appears through a more intense shade on the shirt.”
Aside from orange, Madrid’s shirt also featured night sky colors in various shades of blue in other details.
“This shirt is inspired by the stars that appear in the sky on nights outside the Santiago Bernabeu.”
“Its design comes from the idea that no matter where the team competes, Madrid fans are always connected by the stars in the sky.”
England international Jude Bellingham and new “Galactico” signee Kylian Mbappe graced the promotional campaign.
Paying homage to 2013-14 season
The orange kit is a nod to their 2013/14 campaign when Real Madrid won their tenth Champions League.
It was also that season where football icon Cristiano Ronaldo was at his peak in Madrid.
Mbappe, Bellingham, and even Vinicius Junior aim to replicate Ronaldo’s legacy in the new Real Madrid orange kit.
